Children have the power to change the world! Over the years, Heifer International has watched in awe as countless children, like you, have done amazing things to help improve the lives of people in need. Perhaps you are participating in Read to Feed or some other project to raise money to help others through Heifer. To help you decide what gifts you would like to give, here's a quick and fun way to get an "animal education." Find out how just a few ducks, a goat, water buffalo or other farm animals can change the lives of struggling families. Remember, when these families "pass on the gift" of their animal's offspring to others, your gift turns into MANY gifts! Point and click the animals!
Special Note: If you are participating in Read to Feed, your leader will be using the Leader's Donation Form (that comes in the Leader's Packet) to designate the animal(s) being purchased by your group. Teachers/Leaders — Go to the Teachers, Leaders & Parents section to order your free Read to Feed classroom resources! The prices associated with these gifts represent the complete livestock gift of a quality animal, technical assistance and training. Each "purchase" is "symbolic" and represents a contribution to the entire program of Heifer International. When animal groups are fully funded, additional donations will be used where needed most to help struggling families. Read to Feed Sponsors! — Please make your check payable to Heifer International: Read to Feed. The Read to Feed leader will collect all pledges and send them to Heifer. You will receive a receipt by mail. For those not participating in Read to Feed, you can order a gift online, at www.catalog.heifer.org.
