world to be better fed, proud and self-reliant. Kids! You have the power to be part of hopeful solutions to some very tough global problems!
Join the Read to Feed Challenge!
- Take virtual journeys to different countries
- Test your brainpower and trivia skills
- Learn about fabulous farm animals (some may surprise you!) or go to "Animal Gifts" to select the animal you would like to give to a family in need
- Read real stories about children around the world
- Explore the Heifer's "Looks at Books" and recommend your favorite books to other kids
- Do "cow-culations" with the "Cow-culator"
- Send e-postcards to your friends and family
- Download eye-catching wallpaper, and more!
Parents, Teachers and Sponsors - Read to Feed is about global education, awareness, and action! Children are motivated to read books so they can help impoverished people around the world.
Read to Feed makes it easy for you to

Read to Feed is flexible and fun and free! Resources include

- Free Leaders' Packet, including a Leader's Guide, video, poster, storybook, brochures, student rewards and more
- Optional, standards-based, mid-elementary curriculum that will help children understand issues related to world hunger and poverty, and introduce them to solutions that work! Request or download the curriculum when you order your Leader's Packet. (Curriculum for upper and lower elementary will soon follow).
